...Capturing the essence of North Norfolk

Take just a couple of steps from the doorway of Art-next-the-Sea Gallery and gaze down the gently sloping street to find, framed by ancient buildings a perfect slice of Wells-next-the-Sea's quaint harbour, little boats bobbing in the quay and rolling waves out to the horizon. Wells is a special place in North Norfolk and Art-next-the-Sea is a very special gallery. Modern light and airy it is a place to relax and take your time to enjoy inspirational paintings, sculpture, ceramics from local and international artists.

The owners, David Roger-Burton and Caroline Richmond will be delighted to help and inform you should you wish to purchase a piece of  work or simply browse and take in the varied selection of art on offer.

A complete re-hanging of the gallery is taking place in March 2011 and a new varied selection of work will be exhibited. The gallery is proud to host permanently the work of David’s HMS Victory Oak Collection - hand crafted items made with the reclaimed materials of Lord Horatio Nelson's flag ship HMS Victory and Caroline’s ’Big Sky and Beaches’ exhibition
